Accessibility Upgrades Underway at Drover Park

HUNTINGTON -- Work started on Tuesday, April 9, to install accessible playground equipment at Drover Park for kids of all abilities to enjoy.

The playground area will be closed for approximately six weeks for construction. It should reopen by Memorial Day weekend.

National Hot Rod Association racing pro Josh Hart, a Huntington native, donated $10,000 toward the cause in 2023. The Community Foundation of Huntington County also contributed a $10,000 gift.
