Purchase an Orange Sticker

  • In accordance with City Code Sections 95.02(E) and 95.02(B)(2), City residents shall pay a $5.00 fee at City Services or the City Clerk-Treasurer's Office for each large item to be removed.

  • To purchase an orange sticker, please visit City Services (634 Webster St.) or the Clerk-Treasurer's Office (300 Cherry St., 2nd floor).

  • City Services can accept credit and debit payments only. The Clerk-Treasurer's Office can accept credit, debit, cash or check.

  • Examples of eligible items include: mattresses, box springs, hot water heaters, sofas, recliners and bathroom fixtures.

  • For each $5.00 fee, you will be provided one orange sticker. An orange sticker must be placed on each item to be removed.
  • City residents must then call the Street Department at (260) 356-4720 or email street@huntington.in.us to schedule the item's removal. Same-day pickup may be scheduled if calling before 7 a.m.
  • Prohibited items include but are not limited to: oil, paint, solvents, tires, batteries, propane tanks, TVs and computer monitors. These items can be taken by City residents to the Solid Waste District Hazardous Waste Area, without charge, on Wednesdays from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m., and the first and third Saturday of each month from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
  • This Orange Sticker program is for City residents only.
