You may come into the Clerk's Office and do your own research Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4p.m. We are located in the Huntington County Courthouse, Room 201. 
If you need to have our staff research information for you we will need something in writing:
  • State what type of information you are requesting
  • Give full names (including maiden names)
  • Birth dates
  • Specific years to research
Also include an email address or phone number where you can be contacted if any questions arise. 
Requests can be made by email, fax or by letter. 
If you require copies of the documents there is a $1.00 per page charge for copies.
If you need to have a document certified it is an additional $3.00 charge per certification. 
Payment must be made in cash, credit or debt card or money order only. The clerk's office will not accept personal checks.
If we are mailing copies of our research back to you please include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with the copy fees with your request. 
Research is done as time permits. We do not have extra staff to perform genealogy research. We will make every effort to accommodate your request but only as we have staff available.
